Tether us Lord, and lead us today to bind our wills, our hearts and minds to ascend ever closer to You, the source and Summit of our lives. Remove all stumbling blocks, temptations that cause our missteps and waywardness on our journeys with You. “Who shall stand in His holy place? The man with clean hands and pure heart, who desires not worthless things, who has not sworn so as to deceive his neighbor” Clean and purify our hearts as we reach out today and choose all that leads to mounting faith in You. Cleanse all that blurs, blinds and distorts the holy path that leads to steadfast union with You.  Convict and challenge us to cooperate with the upsurge of the Spirit and harness the strength to overcome the sheer cliff sides in our lives where we feel stuck. Most merciful Jesus, the Seeker of the lost sheep, we reach out to You and hold fast to Your mighty hand that upholds. “He shall receive blessing from the Lord and reward from the God who saves him! Such are the men who seek Him, seek the face of the God of Jacob”, the God of you xo!
