Cowered in grief, blinded by tears, Mary Magdalene leads us in a spirit of prayer today to cry out, "Tell me where?!" to find our Lord. Jesus You were there, she simply did not see or recognize her visitation. Touch the eyes of our heart Jesus, to have greater faith to see You in the shadowed times of our days, when grief, tears or fear blur our spiritual sight and tempt us to think You are gone. Teach us to see, to discern, to perceive Your will, so that we may not wander and loose sight that You are leading us from death to new life. God bless us to see like Mary and recognize more intimately, Your presence and proclaim, "I have seen the Lord!" (John 20:17) Lord, inspire us to share our faith with those who feel lost and can see no joy in living and lead them to fall in love like Mary Magdalene, a spiritual love at first sight, living all for You.
Jesus, we behold You with Mary as "Rabbouni", teacher and pray to grant us teachable hearts, eager to learn and be transformed through suffering and grow union with our Lord. Bless us with insights gained through seeking Your face, Your light, Your lead in our time of prayer. Infuse us with that ardent love that propelled Mary to seek You with all of her heart: "I sought Him, whom my heart loves, I sought Him but did not find Him. ...have you seen Him whom my heart loves? I had hardly left them when found Him whom my heart loves. I took hold of Him and would not let Him go!" (SOS 3:1-3) Rejoice as the beloved of God and "See, the eyes of the Lord are upon those...who hope for His kindness, to deliver them from death" (Psalm 33). See how much God love You!+
