O my God, my Lord! You have heard our plight and have answered us. I will sing your mercies forever because “you have saved us from the hands of the enemy” and have made us yours.
Like Jeremiah, I too “[w]hen I found your words, I devoured them;
they became my joy and the happiness of my heart,
Because I bore your name,
O LORD, God of hosts.”
It is you, only You whom I want to follow. You are our refuge, our protection, our honor, our strength
Your Grace is the treasure, the finest pearl, which fills my soul with your Presence and everlasting life. Nothing is of greater value.
